The last academic year saw an increase in the amount of "no shows" or last-minute cancellations, some as late as 5 mins before the lesson; so from the 12th of January 2023, we have implemented a new cancellation policy.
Many of our tutors travel into the shop from as far as Liverpool so heaving gaps in their agenda has a huge detrimental effect on the feasibility of their evening and we still have to pay the tutors for their time for these cancellations. We turn down many students a year as our availability is often at capacity which is a shame when we are repeatedly left with gaps.
If a slot is missed or cancelled within 48hrs for any reason then the full payment will be due by bank transfer before the next lesson I realise that sometimes this will mean paying for a lesson when your child is poorly but this unfortunately cannot be helped. If there is a pre-arranged absence please advise me or the tutor asap.
